DES MOINES, IOWA — November 28, 2023 — Ag Express Electronics, a leading provider of custom electrical wire harnesses and agricultural electronics services, announced today the completion of a major expansion and modernization of its Des Moines, Iowa, facility. The state-of-the-art facility, expanded by almost double, now spans an impressive 28,000 square feet, serves as the company’s corporate headquarters, and houses its manufacturing and repair center.

The expansion created employment opportunities, allowing the company to add 15 new positions, with the ability to add 25 more jobs in the future. Ag Express Electronics specializes in the meticulous construction of custom electrical wire harnesses for a wide range of agriculture equipment. Additionally, the company offers comprehensive repair and services for agricultural electronics equipment, ensuring farmers and agribusinesses receive top-tier support for their vital equipment.

Set for completion in the spring of 2024, this expansion is almost twice the size of the original facility and not only solidifies job opportunities for the current 37 employees in the Sulphur Springs community but anticipates the addition of 15 new team members. The investment in this facility enhances production and distribution capabilities with advanced equipment and technology for wire harness manufacturing and repair services. It also introduces a product showroom for customers to explore the latest offerings from Ag Express and its distribution partners.
